(Baoquangngai.vn) - Speaking at the 1st Congress of Tra Giang Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Y Thi Bich Tho believed that, inheriting the glorious tradition and spirit of solidarity - creativity - innovation, the Party Committee, government and people of Tra Giang commune will continue to build the locality to be increasingly innovative and developed.

On the morning of July 29, Tra Giang Commune Party Committee held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030. Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Y Thi Bich Tho attended and directed the congress.

Attending the congress were Vietnamese Heroic Mother Phan Thi Phu and 180 delegates representing 706 party members in the entire Party Committee of the commune.

Tra Giang commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Nghia Son, Nghia Lam and Nghia Thang. During the 2020 - 2025 term, despite many difficulties, the commune has achieved many outstanding results.

Total production value in 2025 is estimated at 1,064 billion VND. Budget revenue for the entire term is 164.2 billion VND. Average income per capita is 51.18 million VND/year. Tra Giang maintains 19/19 new rural criteria and has 6 villages meeting the model new rural standards. During the term, the commune admitted 83 new party members.

The congress set out the main targets for the 2025 - 2030 term: Gross domestic product growth rate increases from 9 - 9.5%/year; per capita income increases by 8 - 9%/year; the number of new party members admitted each year meets the target assigned by the province. Strive for no poor households in the commune by 2030.

The Congress also identified two key tasks: Building a clean and strong Party and political system; developing economic and social infrastructure. At the same time, it proposed two breakthrough tasks: Restructuring agriculture, developing industry - trade - services and promoting digital transformation, improving the quality of service to the people, to make Tra Giang a fairly developed commune of the province by 2030.

Speaking at the congress, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Y Thi Bich Tho acknowledged and commended the efforts and achievements of the Party Committee, army and people of Tra Giang commune in the past term.

Comrade Y Thi Bich Tho highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the Party Executive Committee, the staff, civil servants and the consensus of the people in perfecting the apparatus, maintaining the stable operation of the 2-level local government model, creating a premise for economic and social development.

Tra Giang Commune Party Committee needs to continue to strengthen solidarity within the Party, within the political system and the great national solidarity bloc; take care of Party building work, build a team of communal cadres with political mettle, moral qualities, professional capacity, innovative thinking, and effective coordination for the goal of local development.

“Tra Giang needs to identify economic and social development as the central task; take advantage of potential and competitive advantages; promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation in management and operation. At the same time, focus on building an infrastructure system to meet development requirements," suggested comrade Y Thi Bich Tho.

Comrade Y Thi Bich Tho also noted that economic growth must be associated with progress and social justice; developing culture, education, health care, taking care of people's lives, striving to build communes that meet advanced new rural standards, with no poor households by the end of the term.

Immediately after the congress, the new Party Executive Committee of the commune needs to quickly grasp, promulgate and deploy an action program to implement the Resolution for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with the actual situation.

Comrade Y Thi Bich Tho called on all cadres, party members, civil servants, workers, armed forces, businesses and people of Tra Giang commune to unite, act decisively, creatively and with discipline to bring Tra Giang commune to sustainable development.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Commune Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 27 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Van Kham was appointed to hold the position of Commune Party Secretary.
