These 6 schools include: 3 schools in the Netherlands (University of Amsterdam, Utrecht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam) and 3 schools in the UK (University of Glasgow, University of Birmingham, Bournemouth University). Of which, the University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University are ranked 1st and 2nd in the Netherlands respectively.
The female student from Hanoi decided to study at the University of Amsterdam - a school famous for its world-leading Social Sciences and Psychology training programs.

Passion for detective stories
Since childhood, Nhu Xuan has been fascinated by the dramatic and mysterious world in detective stories like Conan, crime novels, and horror. That passion continued to be nurtured in the family environment - where her mother and uncle, both former psychology students in Russia, often talked and analyzed human behavior and psychology through everyday stories. It was these conversations that quietly aroused in the little girl a deep interest in the field of Psychology.
In high school, Nhu Xuan's passion became more clearly defined. Instead of just reading about famous domestic and international cases as an observer, she proactively approached the lens of a forensic psychology expert.
The turning point came during the school year in the US under the integrated program of Olympia School. Here, in the Forensic Science subject, Nhu Xuan first experienced in-depth experiments such as analyzing blood samples, hair, fabric, fingerprints, lip prints and researching criminal records.
It was from those lessons that 10X realized that Forensic Psychology is not just a dry science, but a journey to explore human psychology - where reason and intuition go hand in hand to follow seemingly invisible clues.
"I am especially interested in Forensic Psychology, because each case is like a maze full of layers of secrets and hidden connections. Decoding them requires a lot of time, thinking and perseverance, as if you were solving a challenging puzzle," said Nhu Xuan.

Dream of becoming an international criminal police officer
While many Vietnamese students choose the US or Australia as their study abroad destination, Nhu Xuan chose a different path. For her, the Netherlands is an ideal choice thanks to its pleasant climate, convenient transportation, high-quality education, and especially a culture that suits her personality.
However, the doors to Dutch universities are not easy to open. Each school requires a separate entrance exam with in-depth materials, while the review period lasts only one to two weeks. "This is the most difficult stage for me. The amount of knowledge is very large, there are few exam preparation materials, and it requires a high level of reading comprehension, analysis, and application to real-life situations," said Nhu Xuan.
The 10X student's study abroad profile is impressive because of the comprehensiveness between academic achievements and extracurricular activities. She has a GPA of 3.9/4, IELTS 8.0 and many outstanding achievements. The female student was the main director of two large-scale English musicals at Olympia School: The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Miserables - projects that clearly demonstrate the female student's organizational, leadership and artistic creativity.
"Perhaps choosing the field of Forensic Psychology along with the dream of working at an international criminal police organization created a special pair, helping me impress the admissions board ," the 10X expressed.
The female student confided that she used to be a shy, introverted person who rarely expressed herself. However, the open learning environment and encouragement from Olympia school teachers helped her gradually change. Through her relentless efforts, from someone who had difficulty controlling her emotions, Nhu Xuan has matured, become more confident and knows how to contribute more to the community.
"I always believe that when doing anything, you need to invest your whole heart and soul, pursue it to the end and you will definitely succeed," said Nhu Xuan. Each choice is not only a step forward, but also a long-term commitment to your own passion.
With a clear orientation, specific goals and solid early preparation, the journey of pursuing Forensic Psychology and the dream of setting foot in an international criminal police organization of a Vietnamese female student has every basis for expectation.
