On October 30, the United States and South Korea began large-scale military exercises involving 130 fighter jets from both countries to simulate wartime operations lasting 24 hours.
According to CNA, the South Korean Air Force announced that its annual Vigilant Defense exercise will last until November 3rd, involving variants of F-35 stealth fighter jets from both the US and South Korea, along with other South Korean aircraft.
The exercise aims to improve interoperability between the two countries' militaries through the execution of large-scale air missions such as live-fire air-to-ground drills, air counterattacks, and other emergency training.
