2 athletes were awarded national master titles

BTO-On the afternoon of December 6, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: At the 2023 National Taekwondo Championship for Excellent Athletes, Binh Thuan had 2 athletes awarded the title of National Master.

The tournament takes place from December 2-7, 2023 in Ba Ria Vung Tau province, competing in 18 combat events and 4 forms events in the Olympic system.

Athlete Tran Phuong Nhung

Binh Thuan participated in the tournament with 2 coaches and 2 athletes competing in 2 events, winning 1 gold medal and 1 silver medal. In which, athlete Tran Phuong Nhung, participating in 1 individual female event, won 1 silver medal. Athlete Nguyen Truong Chinh, participating in the men's over 80kg category, won a gold medal. Athlete Nguyen Truong Chinh was voted by the Organizing Committee and experts as the best male athlete of the tournament. Both athletes were awarded national master titles.
