2024 Toyota Alphard fourth generation with new upgrades in chassis architecture and engine

The Vellfire 2.5L version has differences compared to the previous generation Alphard such as using the GA-K chassis architecture version of the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), equipped with a turbocharged engine instead of the familiar 3.5L V6 engine.

The 2024 Toyota Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge uses a 2.4L turbocharged engine - helping the Alphard achieve a maximum capacity of 278 PS (274 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 430 Nm at a rpm range of 1,700 to 3,600 rpm. The engine block comes with an 8-speed conventional automatic transmission, with a direct shift button and manual mode. The Vellfire version uses a hybrid engine, combining the Dynamic Force engine and an electric motor, for a total maximum capacity of 250 PS.

The car's turbocharged engine has been upgraded.

The Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge features smooth and soft materials in premium Nappa leather, which is more supple than the Vellfire's synthetic leather, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14-inch central touchscreen with integrated AC as well as heating and ventilation controls. Additionally, the car comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications, wireless charging and a 15-speaker JBL audio system.

Other features include a digital rearview mirror, an 8-way driver's seat with memory function, and 4-way front seats - both heated and ventilated. Meanwhile, the VIP seats in the rear have wider armrests, designed like an office. The glass panels of the sunroof create the feeling of being on a plane.

This car model carries the most advanced safety equipment in the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 package, including pre-collision warning system (PCS), lane departure warning (LDA), dynamic radar cruise control (DRCC) with lane keeping assist (LTA), road sign recognition assist (RSA) and adaptive high-beam system (AHS).

The product is equipped with blind spot monitoring (BSM) with rear cross traffic alert (RCTA).
