“Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025” is an elaborate art program, combining modern lighting technology and traditional music heritage, especially with the performance of 2,025 drones held in the special cultural space of West Lake.
The rehearsal night of the program "Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025" took place at the intersection of Lac Long Quan - Nguyen Hoang Ton on the evening of January 17.
"Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025" is an elaborate art program, combining modern lighting technology and traditional music heritage, held in the special cultural space of West Lake.
This is the opening event of the Hanoi International Light Festival 2025 and is expected to become an annual event that the public is looking forward to. The program "Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025" is organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Tay Ho District People's Committee; implemented by Sun Bright Creative Arts and Events Joint Stock Company, and deployed by drones by LoonEyes Studio Company.
The show, themed Shine Your Vibes, will feature an unprecedented combination of lighting - symphony orchestra - Drone Lighting Show.
"Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025" brings together Vietnam's leading artists, representing the intersection between tradition and modernity such as People's Artist Thanh Hoa, singer My Tam, Rapper Big Daddy, Ha Le, Do Hoang Hiep, Emily (Nguyen Huong Ly), singer Kieu Anh, Background Band...
On the evening of January 17, the weather was cold but many people still flocked to the rehearsal area to watch.
It is known that many folk materials were also included by the creative team, thereby aiming to honor the unique heritages of Vietnamese culture in general and the capital Hanoi in particular.

This is also the first time that light drone technology has been used on a large scale with a performance of the new generation dragon drone.
On the evening of January 17, 2,025 drones were launched and lit up to perform during the rehearsal night.
The image of the national flag and the words "Vietnam, the era of rising up" were created by drone.
Drone glows with the sacred Dragon symbol of the Ly Dynasty, shining like a jade in the capital.

The program will officially take place at 8:00 p.m. on January 18 at the intersection of Nguyen Hoang Ton - Lac Long Quan, Tay Ho District, Hanoi and will be broadcast live on Hanoi1 channel and social media platforms. In the photo, the elevated train was created by drone.
