Phu Giao District: 12 products participating in OCOP phase 1 in 2025

The Council for evaluating and classifying the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program of Phu Giao district has just held a meeting to approve the evaluation and classification of OCOP products in the first phase of 2025.

Accordingly, in this phase, Phu Giao district has 12 agricultural products of 6 organizations and individuals participating in the 3-star OCOP evaluation at the district level, including 1 company, 2 cooperatives, and 3 business households. The communes with participating products include Phuoc Hoa, An Long, An Thai (each commune has 1 product), Phuoc Sang commune (with 2 products) and An Binh commune (with 7 products). There are 4 products in the fresh food group, 1 product in the raw and pre-processed food group, 1 product in the tea group from other plants and 6 products in the alcoholic beverage group. Through the proposal of the support team and analysis and evaluation of the members of the OCOP District Classification Evaluation Council, 12/12 products meet the standards of 3-star OCOP products in the first phase of 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Van Quang Chinh, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Chairman of the OCOP Classification Evaluation Council of Phu Giao District, requested the standing agency to continue supporting OCOP entities to overcome shortcomings and complete product proof documents, especially in criteria such as: Traceability, product story, market development, and trademark protection.
