- On the afternoon of May 27, the People's Committee of Binh Gia district held a conference to evaluate and classify OCOP products (One Commune One Product program) of Binh Gia district in 2025.

Accordingly, from the beginning of 2025 until now, Binh Gia district has 2 products of 2 entities submitting documents requesting evaluation and classification of OCOP products. Through the inspection and review process of the Binh Gia district OCOP product evaluation and classification council, all products met the requirements to be submitted to the council for evaluation and classification.

At the evaluation conference, the council members discussed and commented on the product profiles with contents such as: product stories, food safety indicators according to regulations, product origin, chain linkage in production and business, product packaging... At the same time, the subjects with products participating in the evaluation clarified and supplemented the criteria that had not been met.

Through discussion and evaluation, the Council members agreed to score and classify 2 products that achieved 3-star OCOP including: Banh Nga Toi product (Mong An cooperative) and Nung ethnic costume (cooperative producing traditional Nung ethnic costume, Thien Thuat commune).

Members of the OCOP product evaluation and classification council of Binh Gia district and the consulting unit visited the product display booth.

At the end of the conference, the subjects continued to supplement the documents according to the council's request. On that basis, the council's support team will complete the documents and procedures to submit to the District People's Committee to issue a decision to recognize 3-star OCOP products for the above 2 products.
