Delegates visited the opening of the Exhibition Area, introducing and connecting the consumption of OCOP products, typical products, and typical industrial and agricultural products.

The exhibition area is organized by the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with relevant agencies and units from May 24 to September 25, 2025, with a scale of 40 booths, including 35 booths providing free support for businesses, cooperatives, and establishments with products that meet OCOP standards, recognized as typical rural industries, typical of the province and 5 general booths to display and organize activities to introduce products, promote, and connect trade between production and consumption units.

This is an activity to effectively implement the directions of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Provincial People's Committee on promoting domestic consumption, supporting the connection of product consumption, especially OCOP products, typical local products; promoting, introducing, connecting the consumption of OCOP products, typical products, typical industrial and agricultural products of the province to people in Quy Nhon city and tourists visiting and shopping during the summer of 2025. Gradually create a chain of connections between agricultural product production units in the province with purchasing units, distributors, and at the same time provide a source of products for people in the province, thereby creating opportunities for people in Quy Nhon city in particular and people in the province in general to purchase quality agricultural products produced from localities of Binh Dinh province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang said that in recent years, under the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, along with the continuous efforts of all levels, sectors, and people, the movement to develop OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, and regional specialty products has achieved many positive results. To date, Binh Dinh province has had 506 products certified to meet OCOP standards, including 46 products with 4-star rating and 460 products with 3-star rating. These products come from 330 entities, including cooperatives, companies, production establishments, and traditional craft organizations.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang emphasized: The product exhibition, introduction and connection area organized this time is not only a trade promotion event but also an opportunity to honor the cultural - production - commercial values ​​of Binh Dinh people, expected to become an effective connection destination between products - businesses - consumers. This is also a space for manufacturers, distributors, retailers to meet, seek cooperation opportunities, develop product consumption markets inside and outside the province, contributing to building an increasingly sustainable OCOP ecosystem and typical agricultural products.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang suggested that enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments pay more attention to OCOP products, devote resources to investing in in-depth product development; constantly improve quality, innovate designs, packaging, build brands and apply e-commerce and digital technology in product distribution. At the same time, he suggested that agencies, departments, branches, localities, especially the Department of Industry and Trade, continue to accompany, support, remove difficulties, create maximum convenience in market information, legal procedures, trade promotion, help OCOP entities reach out, gradually affirm the brand of Vietnamese goods - Binh Dinh goods in the minds of domestic and international consumers.
