Ensuring the construction progress of the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh component projects

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang proposed a number of contents related to the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon section component project.

According to the report of Project Management Board 85, to date, the site clearance work of the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon component project has been completed. Localities and units of Binh Dinh province have handed over 100% of the main route to the investor for construction. Contractors are focusing on 86 construction sites (42 bridge construction sites and 44 road construction sites); mobilizing 520 equipment units and 790 personnel to implement the project. The cumulative output to date is VND 5,507 billion (72.17% of the contract value), meeting the project schedule. It is expected that 46.5km/70.91km will be technically opened to traffic on August 19, 2025, the remaining section on September 30, 2025.

Meanwhile, the site clearance work of the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh Component Project has also been basically completed. Contractors are implementing 78 construction projects (42 bridge projects, 32 road and works projects on the route, 4 tunnel projects); mobilizing 903 locomotives and 2,557 personnel. The cumulative output to date is 7,545.31/10,178.98 billion VND (74.13% of the contract value), the progress basically meets the plan. The project is expected to be completed on September 30, 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang proposed that the Ministry of Construction direct the investor of the Rest Stop at Km77+820 of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon component project (in Hoai Hao and Hoai Thanh Tay wards, Hoai Nhon town) to promptly arrange compensation, support and resettlement funds for the Hoai Nhon Town People's Committee to pay to the people; direct Project Management Board 85 to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to inspect and resolve the addition of the collector road system, residential roads; sewer system, technical trenches..., propose a plan to relocate residential power lines across the highway.

Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the drastic and effective participation of leaders of Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces and related departments and branches in implementing site clearance, supporting construction material mines, and ensuring the project's needs.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung noted that the projects are entering the peak stage, preparing to reach the finish line, investors and contractors need to continue to focus on closely following the progress, speeding up construction, while ensuring construction quality, labor safety, environmental sanitation, etc.

Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung requested the leaders of Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces to continue supporting investors and contractors, promptly resolving difficulties and problems arising during the project implementation, ensuring the goal of opening the main route on August 19, making achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
