Some of these products are being promoted for the first time into modern distribution channels, while some products that were only exported are now also being introduced here.

A representative of BamBoo Food VN Co., Ltd. said that for a long time, the company's products such as lotus seed noodles, moringa noodles, red rice noodles, etc. have only been sold through e-commerce platforms and this is the first time the company has participated in a modern distribution channel.

“Trade connection week and space to introduce Vietnamese products at SATRA’s modern distribution system in 2025” takes place from May 15 to 18, 2025. On this occasion, Satra also signed a memorandum of understanding with about 10 suppliers who registered to participate in the “Responsible Green Tick” program.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the city's strong commitment to promoting sustainable economy , creating an ecosystem of safe goods, clear origin and enhancing the value of Vietnamese products initiated by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition to the purpose of connecting and trading, according to the assessment of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, the week also helps businesses re-evaluate product quality, grasp consumer trends and adjust production and marketing strategies to suit the market. Thereby, helping to improve competitiveness, develop sustainably in the domestic market and aim for export.
