On May 16, Vietjet and Boeing signed a cooperation agreement with Vietjet Thailand on the transfer of 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to Vietjet Thailand, contributing to the development of tourism economy connecting Thailand and Vietnam as well as other countries in the region.

In addition, Boeing also provides a comprehensive technical service support package to Vietjet Thailand, including pilot and engineer training, maintenance and product services, to ensure the new fleet is put into safe and efficient operation in the Thai market.
