Many activities to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday

* Online test to learn about the life, career, ideology and morality of Uncle Ho

* Localities award Party badges to many party members

On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), many meaningful and practical activities were organized throughout the province to celebrate.

* Bac Lieu Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes an online contest to learn about the life, career, ideology and morality of Uncle Ho with the theme "President Ho Chi Minh - The great national hero, the shining crystallization of morality, intelligence, spirit and conscience of the Vietnamese people and the era".

Accordingly, the contestants are cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, members, workers, union members working at agencies, units, and enterprises with trade unions; students at schools and people from all walks of life in Bac Lieu province.

Competition duration: from May 19 to 28, 2025. The Competition Organizing Committee will summarize and award prizes on May 30, 2025, including the First Prize with a prize of 5 million VND.

* On the morning of May 19, at the Ho Chi Minh Temple (Chau Thoi Commune), the Standing Committee of Vinh Loi District Party Committee held a ceremony to honor 3 collectives and 12 individuals who are exemplary in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, session XII - 2025. In addition, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee also solemnly held a ceremony to award 45-year, 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges, session May 19, to 32 Party members in the District Party Committee.

* On the same morning, Dong Hai District Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony to award Party badges to 21 party members on May 19 (including 6 party members receiving 45 and 40-year Party badges and 15 party members receiving 30-year Party badges); at the same time, commended 2 collectives and 6 typical individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

* Also on the morning of May 19, the Provincial Police Youth Union organized an incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Memorial House right in the Provincial Police Department. On this occasion, the Provincial Police Youth Union also organized a political activity with the theme "Bac Lieu Police Youth - Remembering Uncle Ho's teachings" with the participation of more than 60 cadres, union members and youth from affiliated Youth Unions.

* Practically celebrating Uncle Ho's birthday, the Youth Union of the Logistics and Engineering Department (Provincial Military Command) organized a program to examine, provide health consultation, distribute free medicine and give gifts to 200 people in especially difficult circumstances in Ganh Hao town (Dong Hai district). At the same time, coordinated to organize free haircuts; "Zero-dong booth" donated 100 portions of rice along with used clothes, shoes and household items that were still in good condition to the people.

* The provincial library is organizing a display of book models and bookcases to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. The activity introduces to readers many books about Uncle Ho's journey to find a way to save the country; Uncle Ho's testament illuminating the path of the Vietnamese revolution; Ho Chi Minh's culture illuminating the path for the nation; Ho Chi Minh's noble personality...
