In celebration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), this morning, in Quang Yen town, the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Transport and Agricultural Works has started the project to upgrade Provincial Road 338. This is one of the projects of special importance in connecting the transport infrastructure that has been and is being prepared for completion in the Quang Yen Coastal Economic Zone.

The project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 338 has a length of 6.57 km with a total investment of over 668 billion VND from the provincial budget. The starting point of the route connects to the Ben Rung bridge approach road intersection, the end point connects to National Highway 18 in Quang Yen town and Uong Bi city.

According to the schedule, the project will complete upgrading the road surface from 2 motor vehicle lanes and 2 non-motor vehicle lanes to 4 motor vehicle lanes and 2 non-motor vehicle lanes by mid-2026.

The completion of the project will relieve traffic demand, creating attractiveness to attract investment in industrial parks in Quang Yen Coastal Economic Zone in particular and Quang Ninh province in general.
