Vinh Loi Commune Police (Son Duong) supports people to contribute opinions on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution through the VNeID application.
Along with the whole country, the work of collecting public opinions on amending and supplementing the Constitution through the VNeID application has been paid attention to by the Party Committee and authorities in Tuyen Quang province, considering this a profound political event of the whole society. At the same time, it is an opportunity to mobilize intelligence, enthusiasm and create high consensus and unity of the entire people in amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution, ensuring that the Constitution accurately reflects the will and aspirations of the people.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Dang Dinh Cuong, Head of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Provincial Police: This is a highlight, and also the first time the National Assembly has allowed the collection of public opinions on the draft amendment to the Constitution through the VNeID application. The unit has advised the Provincial Police leaders to direct the police force in the whole province to promote a sense of responsibility and initiative with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door" to propagate, support, and guide people to make suggestions to amend the Constitution effectively and on schedule. The whole province strives that by May 25, 100% of citizens have installed VNeID, at level 2 (nearly 400,000 citizens) to participate in contributing ideas to amend the Constitution via VNeID.
Along with that, the Provincial Police Department has sent a document to departments, branches, sectors, district and commune People's Committees to coordinate, requesting to direct widespread propaganda on all information channels so that 100% of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and mobilize their family members and relatives to participate in giving opinions on amending the Constitution via the VNeID level 2 application. The good news is that after more than 1 week of implementation, the collection of opinions on amending the Constitution via VNeID has received positive responses from the people.
Ms. Trieu Thi Van, Dao ethnic group, Thang Binh village, Hung Duc commune (Ham Yen) said: “Recently, the Commune Police came to the village to guide me and everyone to participate in giving opinions to amend the Constitution on VNeID. With just a phone, I can give opinions via VNeID very easily, it only takes a few minutes. I find giving opinions to amend the Constitution very necessary, helping people to express their wishes. The Commune Police also helped me integrate my health insurance card, driver's license... on VNeID, making it convenient for me to see a doctor, do administrative procedures, and not have to carry a lot of papers."
Having just been instructed by the Commune Police and Commune Youth Union to contribute opinions on amending the Constitution on the VNeID application, Mr. Lo A Lanh, Mong ethnic group, Xuan Lap commune (Lam Binh) expressed his satisfaction: Most people already have smartphones, so contributing opinions on amending the Constitution via VNeID will create maximum convenience for people.
According to regulations and roadmap, after collecting public opinions via VNeID application, the Ministry of Public Security will synthesize, analyze, and carefully evaluate, then send them to the Drafting Committee and to the National Assembly Standing Committee. The application of digital technology platform (VNeID application) to collect opinions helps people easily and conveniently participate in contributing opinions to ensure democracy, science, publicity, transparency, substance, quality and savings. At the same time, it will propagate, fight, and refute fake, bad, and toxic information that negatively affects cyberspace related to the policy and the process of collecting public opinions.
