Ministry of Science and Technology Sports Festival 2025: Connecting spirit - health to create and contribute

Towards the celebration of Vietnam Science and Technology Day on May 18 and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, on May 18-19, 2025, at Ba Dinh Sports Center, Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union, Ministry of Science and Technology Trade Union, Ministry of Science and Technology Agency Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ministry of Science and Technology jointly organized the 2025 Ministry of Science and Technology Sports Festival.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong affirmed that with the spirit of "Setting an example, Discipline, Focus, Breakthrough", this year's tournament not only aims at physical training but also spreads the positive values ​​of sports : perseverance, fair play spirit, desire to conquer and the spirit of overcoming oneself, which are also the core values ​​of the Science and Technology sector "pioneering, creative, breakthrough, brave, loyal", strong in expertise, creative in action, effective in serving the country and people.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that the Sports Festival is not only a physical activity, but also a vivid symbol of integration and cohesion after the organization merger; it is the beginning of a period of stronger, more creative and sustainable development. This is an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the whole Ministry to meet, exchange and foster team spirit, thereby creating a solid foundation for a united, unified, loving and happy collective after the organization merger.

On behalf of the Ministry's leaders, the Deputy Minister sent his best wishes to the athletes for their dedication, honesty and nobility; and believed that the success of the Sports Festival would be a premise for many more activities of connection, solidarity and development of the science and technology sector in the coming time.

In a joyful and exciting atmosphere, the athletes showed their enthusiastic competitive spirit, bringing many attractive and exciting matches in the following sports: tug of war, table tennis, badminton, pickleball and tennis. The spirit of serious competition, exchange and learning created a bustling, united atmosphere and spread positive energy.

The 2025 Ministry of Science and Technology Sports Festival ended in a friendly atmosphere with warm handshakes, bright smiles and a new spirit of determination - ready for a journey of "being healthy - being creative - being dedicated" for the country's scientists .
