Gala "Youth of Naval Region 4, proudly marching under the Party flag"

The program is a highlight in a series of activities of the youth of Naval Region 4 to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and welcome the 12th Congress of Naval Region 4 Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the program were Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Major General Nguyen An Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Navy; representatives of the functional agencies of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; heads of the General Staff, Political Department, Logistics and Engineering Department; heads of the Command of Region 4, a number of agencies and units under the Navy and thousands of cadres, youth union members of Navy units and twinned units.

The gala program with elaborately staged art performances, structured in 3 chapters: Firmly believing under the glorious Party flag, Youth at the forefront and Youth of Navy Region 4 steadfastly believing in the Party, worthy of the title "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers".

The art performances were performed by more than 700 mass actors and professional singers and artists, along with more than 1,500 union members and youth. The program brought an artistic space with special singing, dancing and music performances such as: The grand drum performance “Echo of the Sea”; the songs “Remembering Uncle Ho in May”, “National Flag on a Distant Island”; the dance “Keeping the Oath”; the mashup “Aspirations of Youth - Youth of Uncle Ho’s Generation”...

Outstanding youth union members of Naval Region 4 perform the traditional fire lighting ceremony.

The highlight of the program was the traditional torch lighting ceremony. The sacred fire was carried by 50 outstanding youth union members (symbolizing 50 years of building, fighting and growing up of Naval Region 4) and arranged into a five-pointed star, lighting the torch stand and passing on the flame of enthusiasm and belief to the younger generation.

The Youth Gala is not only a large-scale cultural and artistic event but also a place to express the sentiments and determination of the youth of Naval Region 4 and other units, arousing pride, patriotism and a spirit of readiness to contribute and firmly protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Youth union members participate in ensemble performances and art formations.

On the same morning, thousands of union members and youths of Naval Region 4 and its sister agencies and units organized impressive performances and artistic formations. In particular, the images of the national flag, the map of Vietnam and the words "Forever the belief in the Party" were created by union members and youths to express their strong will and national pride.
