A brilliant rainbow suddenly appeared in the sky, across the mountain range behind Tam Chuc Pagoda (Kim Bang District, Ha Nam Province) at around 5:30 p.m. on May 20, right when thousands of people and Buddhists were present to worship and pay homage to Buddha's relics in a solemn and peaceful atmosphere.

Many people used their phones to record this rare moment and shared it widely on social networks, considering it a sacred good omen.

Previously, on May 6, at Thanh Tam Pagoda (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) - the first place to welcome Buddha's relics when they first arrived in Vietnam - five-colored clouds appeared right after the enshrinement ceremony. That scene created special emotions in the hearts of those present.

Two days later, when the relics were carried from Thanh Tam Pagoda to the top of Ba Den Mountain ( Tay Ninh ), colorful clouds continued to appear in this sacred mountain area.

At noon on May 15, a solar halo appeared in the sky of Hanoi, lasting from about 11:30 to 12:00, when the Buddha's relics were enshrined at Quan Su Pagoda - the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

On May 20, the Indian Embassy in Vietnam announced that the Indian Government has agreed to extend the time for enshrining Buddha's relics in Vietnam until after May 21. The Embassy requested that the Vietnamese side promptly announce the specific schedule of the next locations so that it can proactively arrange logistics, extend visas for officials and monks, and organize appropriate ceremonies.

This is the fourth time in history that Buddha's relics have been brought out of India for international public viewing.
