As one of the regular customers at Green Food Phu Tho Cooperative, Ms. Do Viet Huong, Tien Cat Ward, Viet Tri City shared: "The purpose of my visit to the Cooperative is to buy My Lung sticky rice, a 4-star OCOP product of the province because the rice is very fragrant, sticky and has a natural sweetness. However, when I came here, I was very happy because there are hundreds of OCOP products from dried to fresh food. The most important thing is that the products all have traceability codes, geographical indications, clear expiration dates and quite reasonable prices, even many items have prices lower than those on the market. Therefore, I always choose this place as the address to find OCOP products to serve my family's meals".
Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Huong Non commune, Tam Nong district said: "Visiting and shopping at Green Food Phu Tho Cooperative, I found the products quite rich and diverse, displayed in each area for customers to easily choose. Besides, the prices of the products are publicly listed, the staff is ready to advise and introduce each product. I really like the sour meat products of Thanh Son-Phu Tho Sour Meat Cooperative, Hung Lo rice noodles, Cam My tea... If in the past, local products were almost only famous in a narrow range and consumed at a modest level, now, many products after being ranked as 3-star OCOP products or higher have been known by consumers and gradually affirmed their position in the market".
Currently, the Cooperative is a point of promotion and consumption for over 100 cooperative products of the province such as: Thanh Son sour meat, Hung Lo rice noodles, Thach De rice noodles, Lam Thao green onions, Dat To banh chung, Long Coc tea, Tan Son salted chicken and vegetable and fruit products... In addition to the province's typical products, the Cooperative also displays and introduces typical products of nearly 30 provinces and cities across the country... Clearly identifying the needs and market segments, with the motto of bringing products to consumers with clear origin, meeting OCOP standards and diverse in designs and types; strictly controlling from production to processing, ensuring food hygiene and safety procedures.
Mr. Cu Manh Hai, Director of Green Food Phu Tho Cooperative, said: In the beginning of its operation, the Cooperative encountered difficulties in operation, requiring operators to always be proactive, sensitive, and flexible in applying digital technology in promoting, marketing, and boosting product consumption. Therefore, in addition to direct sales at stores, the Cooperative has promoted and introduced on social networking platforms, creating online sales channels. After surveying and understanding the needs of consumers for clean products, the quality of products in the essential product group is very large. Currently, the Cooperative is also developing policies to attract and increase sales; at the same time, contributing to connecting and bringing quality products, OCOP certified products closer to consumers.
Promoting, displaying, introducing and connecting the consumption of typical products of cooperatives to consumers at Green Food Phu Tho Cooperative aims to create a channel for purchasing prestigious and quality goods, and at the same time, is a bridge to help cooperatives in the province have the opportunity to meet and exchange information on the production, processing, preservation and consumption of agricultural products, and expand the consumption market. From there, the units have solutions to improve the quality of OCOP products; build linkage chains, gradually consolidate and develop agriculture in the direction of commodity production, apply high technology to improve designs, create quality agricultural products and food, and meet the requirements of customers.
