The contest was launched on March 5, 2025, receiving nearly 400 entries from all over the country. Of which, the Southern region and Ho Chi Minh City accounted for the highest proportion with more than 300 entries.
The authors participating in the contest have diverse ages, from 22 to 83 years old, showing the intersection between generations and affirming people's interest in the electricity sector - an important and essential energy source in the life of every individual and every family.
Through intimate and emotional perspectives, the articles not only depict the 50-year journey of EVNSPC, but also reflect the people's trust, gratitude and companionship with the electricity industry throughout its development journey.
The jury selected 42 works for the final round. From there, 18 prizes were awarded, with a total value of nearly 100 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Editor -in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper, commented that the participating authors are diverse in age, profession and perspective, but have in common their feelings and love for the electricity industry and electricians.
They have witnessed the change, development and acceleration of the electricity industry from the time of "planting" electric poles, pulling electric wires, going to homes to record electricity meters by hand... to the strong digitalization as it is today. They have also witnessed how electricity has changed the lives of people on remote islands, from desolate countrysides to prosperous lands and famous tourist destinations.
Contest results: 1 first prize went to author Truong Tien Du, with the work "My Village Has Electricity"; 2 second prizes went to authors Nguyen Tran Thanh Truc and Le Thanh Nhan; 3 third prizes went to authors Do Thi Thanh Tuyen, Vu Ngoc Uyen, Cao Xuan Luong and 10 consolation prizes.
