Hoa Phat joins VAMI – strengthens cooperation with mechanical engineering enterprises, providing high quality steel products

Mr. Nguyen Chi Sang - Chairman of Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises (VAMI) presented the decision to recognize the Association's membership to Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - General Director of Hoa Phat Group.

Hoa Phat is currently a leading enterprise in the production of high-quality steel serving a variety of economic sectors in Vietnam such as automobiles, mechanics, shipbuilding, oil and gas, railways, household appliances, defense... Joining VAMI helps Hoa Phat strengthen its connection with the business community in the industry, promptly grasp the needs of mechanical engineering enterprises, ensuring the provision of the highest quality and most suitable products.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Sang - Chairman of VAMI on behalf of the members welcomed Hoa Phat Group to join the Association. Mr. Sang emphasized: “In 23 years of operation, VAMI has supported many industries such as hydroelectric mechanics, thermal power mechanics, automobile mechanics... contributing to ensuring economic security for the country. Hoa Phat can produce many high-quality steel products for mechanics, replacing imports is very good. We welcome Hoa Phat to join VAMI. The members of the Association are also very supportive and all responded to arrange to visit Hoa Phat Dung Quat Complex in early June”.

Through VAMI, Hoa Phat Group hopes to increase experience sharing, update market trends and expand cooperation in the mechanical engineering supply chain with the member business community. This is also a step to help Hoa Phat expand the market for high-quality steel consumption, contribute to the development of the domestic supporting industry, and affirm its active role in the process of national industrialization and modernization.

According to Resolution 68-NQ/TW, the private economy is identified as an important driving force, playing a leading role in enterprise development, participating in national projects and promoting economic growth. The Resolution encourages the construction of business linkage chains by industry, value chains and supply chains, especially in supporting industries and manufacturing and processing. Large enterprises will lead the domestic supply chain.

The Group's leaders believe that the Resolution will be a strong push to help private enterprises make a breakthrough and contribute to the country's new development era.
