National Lotus Village Singing Festival 2025: Grassroots activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere in social and spiritual life

The 2025 National Lotus Village Singing Festival - a special art event to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh - is not only an opportunity for mass artists to offer him profound songs, but also a place to gather the cultural quintessence of regions across the country.

Coming to the National Lotus Village Singing Festival in 2025, local art troupes have carefully prepared and actively practiced to bring the most outstanding performances singing the Party, Uncle Ho; and love for the homeland and country.

Mr. Ngo Van Giao - Deputy Director of Hue City Cinema and Culture Center said that in preparation for the National Sen Village Singing Festival in 2025, all members of the Hue City mass art troupe were very excited, proud and emotional. The troupe actively practiced to have special performances singing about Uncle Ho, Hue City and Vietnam.

"Our group of 30 artists, singers, and actors came to the 2025 National Sen Village Singing Festival with excitement, joy, and special emotions to join art troupes from other localities to create a high-quality music party and convey the message of each region's homeland to the whole country," said Mr. Ngo Van Giao.

Mr. Ngo Van Giao - Deputy Director of Hue City Cinema and Culture Center said that Hue City's art troupe has prepared very carefully to participate in the National Sen Village Singing Festival in 2025.

According to the Deputy Director of Hue City Cinema and Culture Center, immediately after receiving the plan to organize the National Lotus Village Singing Festival in 2025 from the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, under the direction of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, Hue City Cinema and Culture Center has deployed day and night practice, the preparation work is guaranteed from the content, script of the art program to sound, light, costumes, props... all are carefully polished to have the best quality art performances.

Deputy Director of Hue City Cinema and Cultural Center Ngo Van Giao said that the quality of mass art has been greatly improved compared to previous years. With the trend of art troupes merging with the Cultural Center, the quality of actors has also been improved. In addition, the demands of today's society for mass art programs have also increased. It is no longer just a simple performance program, but must focus on investing in content, expertise, artistic quality, and performance techniques of singers and actors.

The Deputy Director of the Hue City Cinema and Culture Center also said that the organizational role of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library is extremely important. The 2025 National Lotus Village Singing Festival is one of the grassroots-oriented activities, these activities aim to improve the quality of artistic expertise; create cultural exchanges between regions and create a vibrant atmosphere in the common life of the social community.

"Currently, in addition to material factors, spiritual and cultural and artistic factors are indispensable to the people," Mr. Ngo Van Giao emphasized.

Coming to the 2025 National Lotus Village Singing Festival, Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuan - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Cultural Center said that the Ninh Binh Provincial mass art troupe brought many carefully prepared performances, in which, in addition to familiar songs praising beloved Uncle Ho, the troupe specially introduced the Xam singing performance with new lyrics composed by the artists in the troupe, expressing sincere feelings and respect for Uncle Ho.

In addition, the song "Ninh Binh remembers Uncle Ho" with its own unique colors of the ancient capital is also a highlight of the program, evoking deep emotions about Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh.

"Within the framework of this year's Lotus Village Festival, we are extremely honored to attend the opening ceremony - an event that was organized on a large scale, magnificently and emotionally. In addition, the artists and actors in the troupe also had the opportunity to experience many unique cultural activities, bearing the imprint of Uncle Ho's homeland.

Taking place from May 16 to 19, the national "Lotus Village Singing" Mass Art Performance is one of the key activities of the 2025 National Lotus Village Festival.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province, attracting the participation of 30 mass art troupes with more than 1,000 artists, actors and musicians from provinces and cities across the country, performing 158 diverse, elaborately staged performances rich in national cultural identity.
