Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Phan Tam emphasized that this training course is not only professional but also a practical activity to raise awareness, professional ethics and cultural qualities for performing arts staff in the new era. In the context of a strongly developing digital society, artists are increasingly influential, not only on stage but also on social networking platforms, each action and word has great influence.
Deputy Minister Phan Tam reiterated the "noble mission" of those working in the performing arts, "The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes the training course first of all to remind us of the noble mission of the performing arts community: Artists - regardless of their field - are people who carry a special responsibility: not only creating, performing or conveying beauty, but also contributing to nurturing the soul of society, especially the young generation."
The Deputy Minister commented: "The way an artist lives, behaves, speaks and acts has great influence - it can elevate and inspire, but it can also damage trust if it deviates from the norm. That is why we need codes of conduct - not to bind, but to remind each other: it is not enough to just do the job, but we must also be a truly beautiful person in every action, every look, every word to become an inspiration, a person who preserves and promotes the good cultural values of the nation".

Emphasizing the important role ofeducation in shaping the personality of artists, Deputy Minister Phan Tam said that art schools are not only places to train talent but also teach artists how to live responsibly, have professional ethics, be humble and respect others. When artists are trained in a decent educational environment, they will know how to preserve themselves and spread good values to the community.
Deputy Minister Phan Tam also shared that although the code of conduct in cultural and artistic activities has been issued for a long time, in order for these seemingly simple principles to permeate into daily awareness and behavior, we still need training sessions like today, not only to learn, but also to look back, share and spread good values in the profession.
Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Phan Tam said that this training course took place in the context of the cultural sector actively implementing major resolutions of the Party, including Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Resolution 68-NQ/TW. These resolutions set out requirements for innovation in creative thinking, integration and development of the cultural economy, requiring artists to master their personal image, professional brand and relationships with the public in the digital age.
The Deputy Minister expressed his hope that the training course will become the starting point for a "Dong Khoi of beautiful behavior" among artists - a large stage where every artist has the responsibility to step up, live beautifully, live correctly and spread humanistic cultural values to the community.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam welcomed the training class and introduced the typical cultural values and outstanding economic achievements of Ben Tre province.
