Prime Minister: Organizing the Exhibition commemorating 80 years of the journey towards Independence, Freedom, and Happiness is truly a "national celebration".

On the afternoon of August 6, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting of the Government Standing Committee on a number of important issues, including the design and operation plan for the exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh , Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; comrades of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Ministers: Tran Hong Ha, Ho Duc Phoc, Nguyen Chi Dung, Mai Van Chinh; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung and leaders of ministries, branches and agencies under the Government.

At the meeting, the Government Standing Committee discussed and gave opinions on the identity design plan and the operation plan of the National Achievement Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day; the overall plan to ensure activities at the Exhibition, organize the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony, security, order, medical care , reception, logistics and other activities of the Exhibition.

Concluding his remarks on this content, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant collectives and individuals for their active efforts and basically completing the plans.

  Focus more on propaganda work on the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day

Suggesting and giving opinions on some specific contents in organizing the Exhibition, the Prime Minister requested more determination, effort, positivity and speed in implementing the work, continuing to research and perfecting plans to successfully organize the Exhibition.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Exhibition needs to be organized as a true "national festival", highlighting and ensuring easy identification of key messages, historical milestones, symbolic works of national significance, affirming national identity; having great influence, creating momentum, motivation, and inspiration for the entire nation, people, and international friends.

The Prime Minister suggested paying attention to the use of foreign languages ​​to introduce to international friends; creating favorable conditions for businesses and participating entities to promote their potential and strengths and conduct cooperation and business agreements.

According to the Prime Minister, with the general main idea of ​​"80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", it is necessary to encourage and promote creativity, uniqueness, and emulation spirit among ministries, branches, localities, agencies, and units participating in the Exhibition.

The Prime Minister also noted the need to ensure security, order, healthcare, reception, logistics, plans for organizing information and guidance booths, traffic organization, visitor flow, fire prevention, rescue, food services, environmental sanitation, landscape, trees, technical support, machinery and equipment, and electricity and water for the Exhibition.

The Prime Minister suggested and gave opinions on some specific contents in organizing the Exhibition.

Also at the meeting, the Government Standing Committee discussed and gave opinions on strengthening leadership and improving the effectiveness of signing and implementing international agreements and commitments.

Regarding this content, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies to absorb opinions, continue to research, supplement and complete the dossier to submit to competent authorities, including clarifying some contents on the basis, goals and tasks, and solutions in the spirit of "what is said must be done, what is committed must be implemented" and ensuring national and ethnic interests.
