Submitting to the National Assembly the Law on Personal Income Tax (amended) at the 10th Session

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly decided to add the following projects to the 2025 legislative program for submission to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 10th Session (October 2025): Law on Tax Administration (amended); Law on Personal Income Tax (amended); Law on Protection of State Secrets (amended), implemented under simplified procedures; and Law on Public Officials (amended), implemented under simplified procedures.

The resolution also clearly assigns the submitting agency, the lead agency for review, the participating agencies in the review, and the schedule for submitting the newly added draft laws to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for comments. Accordingly, the Economic and Financial Committee of the National Assembly will lead the review of the draft Law on Tax Administration (amended) and the Law on Personal Income Tax (amended).

The Law on Protection of State Secrets (amended) will be reviewed by the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs. Meanwhile, the Law on Public Officials (amended) will be reviewed by the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice .

All of these draft laws were submitted by the Government to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly at its September session.

This resolution shall take effect from August 1, 2025.
