VietinBank donates houses to poor and near-poor households in Khanh Hoa province

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Cat Quang Duong - Member of the Board of Directors of VietinBank said: Responding to the call of the Prime Minister; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; and at the same time implementing the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", VietinBank supported nearly 5 billion VND to build 83 housing projects for poor and near-poor households in Khanh Hoa province. VietinBank identified this as a meaningful and practical activity, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Also at the Ceremony, Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Khanh Hoa Province said: The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Khanh Hoa Province was completed 8 months ahead of the Central target and 2 months ahead of the province's plan; eliminating over 1,326 temporary and dilapidated houses (of which, 462 new houses were built and 864 houses were repaired). In terms of quality, the houses have met the "3 hard" criteria, the house's lifespan is 20 years or more, meeting the convenience and needs of the people.

At the handover ceremony, VietinBank Khanh Hoa also presented 130 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Khanh Son district.

In Ma O village (Son Trung commune, Khanh Son district), since the morning, many people have come to celebrate with Mr. Mau Chanh's family - a near-poor household in the village, officially receiving the new house. The spacious house was supported by VietinBank with 60 million VND. Here, VietinBank also presented 2 gifts of necessities to his family.

Mr. Chanh emotionally shared: “These past few days, my family has been extremely happy. The dream of a solid house that seemed so far away has now come true, thanks to the attention of the Party, the State and VietinBank.”
