According to information from the Central Council for the Protection of Cadres' Health, comrade Tran Duc Luong, born on May 5, 1937, former member of the Politburo , former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, after a period of illness, despite being treated wholeheartedly by the Party, the State, professors, doctors, and his family, due to old age and poor health, he passed away at 10:51 p.m. on May 20, 2025, at his home, at the age of 88.
The visitation, memorial service and burial ceremony of comrade Tran Duc Luong will be announced later.
