Singapore is the top destination chosen by many tourists during summer travel .
Mr. Terrence Voon, Managing Director of Southeast Asia of STB, said that Singapore and Vietnam have a long-standing relationship in many fields, especially tourism. Singapore's appeal comes from the combination of diverse shopping, unique cuisine , rich entertainment and unique cultural heritage. In 2024, Singapore welcomed 16.5 million international visitors, including more than 393,000 from Vietnam, putting Vietnam in the top 15 global key markets of this country.
According to Mr. Terrence Voon, to attract Vietnamese tourists, STB is cooperating with strategic partners in Vietnam to deploy an integrated communication campaign on multiple platforms such as website, blog, social network and email marketing. Content about Singapore tourism will be spread synchronously, emphasizing novelty and reliability. In addition, STB also introduces tourism products that are optimally designed for Vietnamese tourists, including hotel - air ticket combos, cruise tours, central hotels, tickets to visit prominent entertainment spots... These packages are built to optimize costs and maximize customer experience time.
Assessing the Singapore tourism market, Mr. Nguyen Trung Cong, CEO of iVIVU said: "Singapore is one of the three international markets with the highest revenue of this business, with more than 500,000 regular visitors, mainly in the high-end segment. We aim to bring at least 13,000 Vietnamese tourists to Singapore through a personalized tourism product ecosystem that meets strict standards of experience and service. Therefore, the strategic cooperation between the two sides will help increase Singapore's presence in the Vietnamese market, while promoting bilateral tourism links."

Similarly, Ms. Tran Thi Bao Thu, Marketing and Communications Director of Vietluxtour Company, said that the rate of Vietnamese tourists traveling to Singapore for the second time is currently very high. Singapore currently offers a 30-day visa exemption for Vietnamese tourists and operates 137 flights per week from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and Phu Quoc, operated by four airlines. Changi Airport, considered one of the best-connected airports in Asia, currently serves more than 78 airlines with flights to more than 400 cities in 140 countries, making it an ideal gateway for international and regional travel.
