According to the report, the Long Thanh international airport project needs more than 4.9 million m3 of construction stone. Currently, the quality of stone at many mines is uneven, with much weathered and unsuitable stone, so the province needs to support the supply of materials for the project, especially when implementing the construction of runway No. 2. As for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, there are 155 households that have not yet handed over the site. The construction units have requested Dong Nai province to hand over before August 2025 and relocate the technical infrastructure system, hand over the site in May 2025.

For the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, it is necessary to speed up construction and relocate technical infrastructure soon to complete it at the same time as Long Thanh airport.

* On the same day, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held two online meetings with localities and relevant units to urge the progress of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project and capacity release projects for Nhon Trach 3 and 4 Thermal Power Plants (Dong Nai province).

Currently, the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen route has handed over 468/468 land positions, and is constructing foundations and erecting poles. The Ministry of Industry and Trade requires Vietnam Electricity Group to complete land clearance in May and take advantage of favorable weather to speed up construction.

Regarding the Nhon Trach project, Dong Nai province still has 37/87 tower positions of the 220kV line that have not been handed over. The Ministry of Industry and Trade requested the province to complete site clearance before June 15 to ensure the commercial power generation schedule for Nhon Trach 3 plant in August and Nhon Trach 4 plant in November 2025.
