Opening, the company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 119.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 121.3 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 800,000 VND/tael (buy) and 300,000 VND/tael (sell) compared to the end of yesterday.
With the above adjustment, the buying-selling price range is at 2 million VND/tael instead of 2.5 million VND/tael as before.

The price of gold rings also increased. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed gold rings of type 1-5 at only 112.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 115.5 million VND/tael (sell), 500,000 VND/tael higher than the previous day each way.
Phu Quy Group increased by 300,000 VND/tael each way, to 112.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 115.8 million VND/tael (sell).
Meanwhile, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company kept the price unchanged at VND112 million/tael (buy) - VND115 million/tael (sell). The current price is the highest since May 12.
Yesterday, the gold price initially increased by 1.2 million VND/tael then increased by 500,000 VND/tael, reaching 121 million VND/tael.
On the international market, early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,321 USD/ounce, a sharp increase compared to 3,296 USD/ounce at the same time the previous day; and compared to the lowest level in last night's trading session, it "increased" by 26 USD/ounce.
Precious metal prices rose as investors rushed to buy gold to protect their assets amid concerns about geopolitical tensions.
At nearly 9am, the gold price was trading at 3,341.3 USD/ounce, converted to be about 15.6 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price. This difference decreased by nearly 1 million VND/tael compared to the same time yesterday because the domestic gold price increased more slowly than the international price.
