At the end of the competition day, the Organizing Committee found the best names to enter the finals of the team event of the National Table Tennis Championship of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Notably, in the men's team event, the first semi-final match is between the defending champion Hanoi 1 and Hai Duong-Long Hai 1. This is an exciting match as both teams are very strong, have rich traditions and possess quality players.

The surprise came in the first match, between SEA Games 31 Gold Medalist Nguyen Duc Tuan and 16-year-old Do Manh Luong. Although this was his first time participating in the Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship, the 2009-born athlete of Hanoi 1 played confidently and effectively to win 3-1 against Duc Tuan, putting Hanoi 1 ahead.

After the impressive performance of their juniors, the spirit of the Hanoi 1 players was raised. Then Nguyen Anh Tu and Nguyen Van Huan won 3-0 and 3-2 against the Hai Duong - Long Hai 1 players Doan Ba ​​Tuan Anh and Nguyen Duy Phong.

Thus, Hanoi 1 won an overwhelming 3-0 victory over Hai Duong-Long Hai 1, thereby winning a place in the final match of the men's team event.

The second semi-final match of the men's team event was between Army 1 and People's Public Security T&T 1. Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc quickly proved their qualities to bring home the first two victories for People's Public Security T&T 1 after both defeated Bui The Nghia and Nguyen Dang Hiep 3-0.

However, the players of Army 1 showed that they are also very formidable opponents. Nguyen Hoang Lam and Nguyen Dang Hiep defeated Vu Manh Huy and Dinh Anh Hoang with scores of 3-0 and 3-2 respectively to bring the match to a balance.

Coming to the decisive match, Le Dinh Duc once again shone to win 3-0 against Bui The Nghia to secure a 3-2 victory for T&T 1 People's Police, bringing this team to the final of the men's team event.

In the women's team event, the champion candidate of Ho Chi Minh City 1 with veteran names such as Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Mai Hoang My Trang, Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu dominated and won 3-0 against the players of Army 2. Thereby, the girls of Ho Chi Minh City 1 won the right to play in the final.

In the second semi-final match between Army 1 and Hai Duong-Long Hai 1. Although Army 1 gained an early advantage when Vu Hoai Thanh won 3-2 against Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong. However, players Bui Ngoc Lan and Dinh Thi Hue showed their mettle when they won 3-1 and 3-0 against Lam Thu Cuc and Tran Dieu Linh to bring Hai Duong-Long Hai 1 back to the lead 2-1. In the final match, player Bui Ngoc Lan won 3-1 against Vu Hoai Thanh, securing a 3-1 victory, thereby helping Hai Duong-Long Hai 1 qualify for the final of the women's team event.
