The Ministry also emphasized the need to strengthen propaganda and education to raise awareness and responsibility of people and communities in enforcing the law on forest management, protection and fire prevention.
It is known that in the first 8 months of 2025, the work of forest management, protection, and fire prevention and fighting in Dak Lak continued to be focused on by functional sectors, localities and forest owners. However, illegal deforestation and encroachment of forest land still occurred, with 738 violations occurring from the beginning of the year to August 2025, confiscating more than 302 m3 of various types of wood.
