Located about 20km from the center of Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh province), Nhon Ly fishing village nestles beside the azure sea of Phuong Mai peninsula. Here, the fishermen's houses are clustered together on the hillside, while in front lies a vast expanse of saltwater that has sustained generations of people in this area.
Unlike the bustling atmosphere of typical tourist beaches, Nhon Ly beach offers a slow-paced, familiar living space.
Upon arriving here, visitors can stroll along winding paths leading to houses nestled together along the hillside.
Interspersed among the ancient, moss-covered walls are vibrant folk murals reflecting an old fishing village caught between two sides of time.

In Nhon Ly, most residents make their living from near-shore fishing. During peak fishing season, from early spring to early summer, fishing boats set sail from dawn.
Through the skillful hands of experienced fishermen, the techniques of using seine nets to catch anchovies, shrimp, squid, etc., become a marvel in the eyes of tourists.
With each swing of the arm, the large nets unfold in a circular, flower-like pattern, spreading gradually across the water's surface, creating a scene that is both expansive and gentle, as if the sea itself were blooming.
Besides sightseeing, visitors can directly experience fishing and squid catching activities with local fishermen if they visit during the right season, or simply go fishing early in the morning.
If you don't go to the beach, you can wake up early and visit Nhon Ly fishing port, where boats dock after a night of work.
Here, fresh seafood is sold right on the beach. Squid, fish, crabs, shrimp... you can buy them all here at reasonable prices, and some locals are even willing to prepare or cook them on the spot if you ask.
Nhon Ly fishing village is not a bustling tourist destination, but that's precisely why it has preserved its original beauty, becoming an integral part of the soul of Binh Dinh's coastal region.
Visitors come here not just to take a few photos, but to slow down, to better understand the people and the rhythm of the sea.
