The image of teacher Hoang Thi Chi working hard from morning to night on the more than 30 km road from her home to Xuan Van Secondary School has become familiar to the people here. The road from Tan Long Commune (the area bordering Tan Tien Commune), where Hoang Thi Chi's family lives, to Xuan Van Secondary School seems longer because of the worries and burdens she carries on her shoulders. Her husband has a serious illness, life has its difficulties, but she is always optimistic and strives to complete the assigned tasks well.

Teacher Hoang Thi Chi received a gift from the Provincial Party Standing Committee and a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman for her outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, period 2016 - 2025.

For Ms. Chi, each student is a hope, a future that needs to be nurtured. Especially, in a school with nearly 800 students, more than half of whom are ethnic minority children with many difficult circumstances, the teacher's care and encouragement become more important than ever. She not only imparts knowledge from books but also "ignites" passion, arouses the desire to rise in the students. Not only is she a dedicated Geography teacher, she is also a second mother, a trusted companion of students, especially those in difficult circumstances. With her dedication, boundless love and creative teaching methods, Ms. Chi has "ignited" the passion for learning, helping students achieve new achievements.

Luong Quoc Hieu, a 9C student who won the first prize in the provincial Geography competition in the 2024-2025 school year, could not hide his respect and gratitude for his teacher: “For us, teacher Hoang Thi Chi is like a teacher, a mother who always cares for and encourages us anytime, anywhere. It is her example of overcoming difficulties, her dedication and love for each student that has motivated me to study better, so that I can become a useful citizen for society in the future.”

Hieu's sincere sharing clearly depicts the image of a teacher who is not only good at her profession but also compassionate. Ms. Chi always takes the time to listen and understand the circumstances of each student, from which she has appropriateeducational and support methods. For students with especially difficult circumstances, her help does not stop at words of encouragement but also through practical actions, coming from the heart.

In recent times, Xuan Van Secondary School has implemented many meaningful activities to support poor students, and teacher Hoang Thi Chi has always been one of the pioneers. She often spends part of her salary to buy warm clothes, books, and school supplies for students in difficult circumstances. The gifts, though small, contain a great heart, giving them more motivation to continue on their path of learning.

Ly Van Nhat, a Dao ethnic, a 7A student, was moved when talking about the care of his homeroom teacher Hoang Thi Chi: “My parents divorced, I lived with my grandmother, life was very difficult. When I went to school, I received care and help from my homeroom teacher Hoang Thi Chi and other teachers at the school. Meaningful gifts such as clothes, books... created great motivation for me to strive to improve in life, to strive to achieve the best academic results”. Nhat's story is just one of many difficult situations that Ms. Chi and Xuan Van Secondary School have always been concerned about and tried to find ways to help.

Not only a kind mother, teacher Hoang Thi Chi is also a person who "passes on the fire", inspiring the passion for discovery in students through Geography. With more than 14 years of working to nurture excellent students, she has built a unique teaching method, combining book knowledge and real life experiences.

She always researches and innovates teaching methods, making Geography lessons more lively and attractive. Maps, charts, and visual images that she prepares herself, and real stories about lands and cultures around the world that she tells passionately attract students' attention and arouse their curiosity. She also actively applies mind maps and information technology to teaching, helping students easily grasp knowledge and develop their creative thinking ability.

“During my teaching, I always try to explore and promote creativity to make my lessons more rich and attractive. Regularly making teaching aids and using them in class has created excitement for students to learn, which is highly appreciated by my colleagues,” Ms. Chi shared her secret.

Ms. Chi's dedication and effective teaching methods have brought proud achievements to Xuan Van Secondary School. From the 2021-2022 school year to the 2024-2025 school year, she has trained and helped 36 students of the school win prizes in provincial and district-level excellent student competitions. Notably, in the 2024-2025 school year, the school's Geography team won 11 prizes, including 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 2 third prizes at the provincial level. This achievement brought Xuan Van Secondary School to 3rd place in the province in the excellent student competition of the 2024-2025 school year.

Not only is she a good teacher, Ms. Hoang Thi Chi is also a shining example of the spirit of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, she has done many practical things, demonstrating the dedication, responsibility and compassion of a teacher.

Her regular support for students in difficult circumstances, free tuition for weak students, constant innovation in working style and manners, and leading by example in school movements are clear evidence of her efforts in studying and following Uncle Ho. This is a worthy recognition for her efforts and dedication to the cause of educating people.
