28 businesses participate in the 2025 Job Fair and Employer Connection at Dong Thap University

On May 18, Dong Thap University organized the 2025 Job Fair and Employer Connection Day with the participation of 28 enterprises and a large number of students. This activity aims to improve the effectiveness of job support for students after graduation, while establishing and maintaining good cooperative relationships between the school and recruitment units.

Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Cao Dao Thep - Vice Principal of Dong Thap University said that throughout the development process, the University has been steadfast in its goal of training generations of students who are dynamic, creative, honest, responsible and adaptable in a multicultural environment. The University believes that these qualities are the solid foundation to help students quickly integrate into the high-quality workforce - something that businesses are constantly looking for.

“At this year’s Job Fair and Employer Connection Day, the School was honored to welcome 28 recruitment units with more than 1,500 job vacancies introduced, including 18 foreign enterprises - capable, potential and prestigious partners in the field of human resource development. In particular, one enterprise has recruited more than 130 former students of the Chinese Language major, and has successfully coordinated with the School to organize two textile and garment major courses and is implementing a marketing course for students of the English Language major. This is an effective cooperation model, contributing to the formation of an ecosystem connecting training - practice - employment that the School is proactively developing,” Mr. Cao Dao Thep shared.

Students register for job recruitment at the Fair

Through meetings between employers and students, job interviews at the Fair, students of the school gain more knowledge, experience, skills and confidence when applying for jobs after graduation, increasing the chances of successful application when looking for a job; helping employers and partners of the school choose suitable personnel for recruitment positions; contributing to affirming the quality of training and enhancing the reputation and position of the school in society. At the same time, the Fair creates conditions for final year students and recent graduates of the school to approach employers, participate in interviews, apply for job positions suitable for their trained majors...

On this occasion, businesses directly awarded 24 scholarships to students and contributed to the Scholarship Fund of Dong Thap University.
