On the afternoon of May 16 in Vinh city, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the opening ceremony of the national "Sen Village Singing" mass art performance in 2025. This is an activity in a series of events to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

On the side of Nghe An province, there were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi; Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi My Hanh; along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and a large number of artists, artisans and actors from 30 mass art troupes across the country.

The "Sangha of Lotus Village" performance is one of the propaganda activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); expressing the sincere remembrance and deep gratitude of the Vietnamese people, the love and respect of people around the world for President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity.

Born in 1981, the "Sen Village Singing" Festival has continuously grown, going beyond the village and commune boundaries to become a national cultural event. Through many seasons, the Festival is not only a bridge connecting sacred feelings with President Ho Chi Minh, but also a place where the immortal values ​​of revolutionary music shine.

From each lyric, melody, spirit and style of Ho Chi Minh continues to spread widely in the community, lighting up patriotism, morality and beautiful ideals for present and future generations.

In 2025, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the "Sen Village Singing" Festival made an impressive return on a national scale, with a new name: "Sen Village Singing" Mass Art Performance. The event gathered 30 mass art troupes from the North - Central - South, creating a colorful art picture rich in regional identity.

Each art troupe brings unique performances, crystallizing the spirit of the homeland and affection for Uncle Ho. Not only is the performance special, this year's Festival also has a sophisticated investment in the stage combining modern performance technology, rich props, lighting and multi-layered effects to bring a complete visual and emotional experience to the audience.

Although having different styles and sounds, all artists find common ground, deep respect and gratitude to beloved Uncle Ho.

With nearly 1,000 mass artists from all over the country converging on Uncle Ho's hometown, the Festival is not only a large-scale cultural event, but also a meeting of souls, where art is sublimated from patriotism and the morality of remembering the source of water.
