On the afternoon of May 16 in Vinh city, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the opening ceremony of the national "Sen Village Singing" mass art performance in 2025. This is an activity in a series of events to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Attending the opening ceremony on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong - Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi; Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi My Hanh; along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and branches and a large number of artists, artisans and actors from 30 mass art troupes across the country.

The "Sen Village Singing" performance is one of the propaganda activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); expressing the sincere remembrance and deep gratitude of the Vietnamese people, the love and respect of people around the world for President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity.

Through the commemorative propaganda activities, we contribute to consolidating and fostering the people's trust in the Party; encouraging patriotic emulation movements, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party and successfully organize Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Through the Festival, Nghe An also has the opportunity to introduce and promote to friends from all over the world its cultural values, history, people and beautiful natural landscapes.

Established in 1981, the "Sen Village Singing" Festival has grown steadily, going beyond the village and commune boundaries to become a national cultural event. Through many seasons, the Festival has not only been a bridge connecting sacred feelings with President Ho Chi Minh, but also a place where the immortal values ​​of revolutionary music shine.

From each lyric, melody, spirit and style of Ho Chi Minh continues to spread widely in the community, lighting up patriotism, morality and ideals of a beautiful life for today's and future generations.

In 2025, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the "Sen Village Singing" Festival will make an impressive return on a national scale, with a new name: "Sen Village Singing" Mass Art Performance. The event brings together 30 mass art troupes from the North - Central - South, creating a colorful art picture rich in regional identity.

Each art troupe brings unique performances, crystallizing the spirit of the homeland and affection for Uncle Ho. Not only is the performance special, this year's Festival also has a sophisticated investment in the stage, combining modern performance technology, rich props, lighting and multi-layered effects to bring a complete visual and emotional experience to the audience.

Although having different styles and sounds, all artists have something in common, a sincere heart and deep gratitude to beloved Uncle Ho.

With nearly 1,000 mass artists from all over the country converging on Uncle Ho's hometown, the Festival is not only a large-scale cultural event, but also a meeting of souls, where art is sublimated from patriotism and the morality of remembering the source of water.
