The construction volume of the roadbed of Component 2 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project has reached 75%.

According to Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction), currently, for the roadbed construction work at Component Project 2, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, contractors have completed 1.8 million m3 out of a total embankment volume of 2.4 million m3, reaching 75% of the total roadbed embankment volume.

Along with that, the contractors have constructed crushed stone aggregate for 6km/18.2km of the entire route. At the same time, the contractors have deployed asphalt concrete construction at some sections of the project and are currently constructing 8/8 residential underpasses and 23/23 bridges on the route.

According to Project Management Board 85, in December 2024 and March 2025, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province granted licenses to contractors to exploit earth fill mines at locations in Phuoc Binh and Bau Can communes of Long Thanh district to serve the project construction. Up to now, there has been basically enough earth fill materials to serve the construction of Project Component 2. Therefore, Project Management Board 85 is making efforts to speed up the progress of earth fill, basically completing before the rainy season of 2025.
