The event was held at Brigade 22 - Armored Corps (Bien Hoa City), gathering nearly 700 delegates representing provincial leaders, departments, branches, socio- political organizations, armed forces, businesses, students and a large number of local people.

Attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, along with representatives of forest owners such as Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, protective forest management boards and forestry companies operating in the area.

Among the commended enterprises, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company is one of the outstanding units, receiving two provincial-level certificates of merit in the collective and individual categories for its outstanding and sustainable contributions to afforestation, ecosystem restoration and environmental protection in the locality.

These remarkable results are an important part of the journey to implement the project "CP Vietnam - Green Vietnam Journey (2021-2025)", which the company is carrying out nationwide with the goal of planting and caring for 1.5 million trees, both within the enterprise and in coordination with stakeholders and the community.

In Dong Nai, one of the highlights of the project is planting 10 hectares of new mangrove protection forests in Long Thanh district.

The project plays an important role in ecosystem regeneration. Not only does it contribute to increasing forest cover, it also brings practical benefits in stabilizing land, improving water quality and creating habitats for many native species.

At the same time, in the period of 2025-2028, the Government of Vietnam will coordinate with the People's Committee of Nhon Trach district to deploy the model of "Environmental protection and natural regeneration promotion" in Phuoc An commune, on an area of 52.6 hectares.

This model applies forest restoration methods by minimizing human impact, allowing forests to regenerate themselves under scientific management and ecological monitoring.

This is an effective approach in the context of needing to increase forest cover while still saving costs, preserving biodiversity and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Within the framework of the program, the company also implemented a plan to conserve long-tailed macaques in protective forests from 2025 to 2030.

This is an activity of profound biological and humanistic value, contributing to maintaining ecological balance and raising public awareness of the role of wildlife in preserving mangrove ecosystems.

Not only focusing on Dong Nai, the company also expanded to Ben Tre province. On May 17, 2025, Mr. Krittaphol Huanpeeb - Director of CP Ben Tre Shrimp Hatchery - represented the company to attend the tree planting launching ceremony in the locality at the invitation of the Provincial People's Committee.

During the 2021-2025 period, the company has coordinated with relevant units to plant 40 hectares of mangrove forests and 15 hectares of casuarina forests in coastal areas at high risk of erosion, thereby contributing to land protection, preventing saltwater intrusion and restoring habitats for many aquatic species.

Environmentally friendly

In addition to tree planting activities, the company is also one of the pioneers in applying energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.

By investing in modern production lines, increasing the use of renewable energy such as solar power, and optimizing energy management systems at factories, the company has significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions - contributing to the national goal of green transformation and moving towards a zero-emission enterprise.

The activities in Dong Nai and Ben Tre are not only an opportunity to honor outstanding groups and individuals, but also a message to the whole society about the importance of preserving a green - clean - beautiful living environment.

With practical, consistent contributions and clear strategies, CP Vietnam is affirming its pioneering position in building a green development business model, contributing to realizing the dual goal: economic development coupled with protection of natural resources and ecosystems for future generations.

"For CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, sustainable development is not only a commitment but also a core foundation, where the interests of the country and the community are always prioritized. The company constantly strives to build a sustainable economic ecosystem, in harmony with society and the environment, so that every step of CP Vietnam is for a green, prosperous and sustainably developed Vietnam."
