According to information from the Hoa Binh Provincial Electronic Information Portal, on May 26, the People's Committee of Yen Thuy district issued Decision No. 2048 announcing the reappearance of African swine fever in Yen Tri and Huu Loi communes.
Specifically, the outbreak began in Yen Tri commune on May 19 and in Huu Loi commune on May 20. The main affected areas are Yen Tri and Huu Loi communes, while Ngoc Luong, Phu Lai, Bao Hieu communes and Hang Tram town are in the area at risk of being threatened by the epidemic. The buffer zone includes Lac Thinh, Da Phuc and Lac Luong communes.
The People's Committee Chairmen of Yen Tri and Huu Loi communes were assigned to inform farmers about the recurrence of African swine fever in the area.
