BPO - On the morning of May 30, the State Audit Office of Region XIII and the Provincial People's Committee jointly organized a conference to announce the audit decision on the local budget settlement report for 2024 and the topic "Investment, application of information technology software, activities of hiring information technology services to serve digital transformation in the period of 2021-2024 of Binh Phuoc province".

At the conference, representatives of the State Audit Office of Region XIII announced the decision, announced the plan and content of the audit in Binh Phuoc. Accordingly, the audit content for the 2024 local budget settlement report includes: budget estimates; budget management and synthesis and preparation of local budget settlement reports. For the digital transformation topic, it includes: the issuance of mechanisms, policies, plans, investment implementation programs, application of information technology software, activities of hiring information technology services for digital transformation; economic efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency in organizing and implementing plans and programs; compliance with State policies, regimes and laws in management and use of funds. Audit period is 34 days.

According to the plan, the State Audit delegations will work on the content of the 2024 local budget settlement report at 3 units: the Department of Finance, the Regional Tax Department XVI and the Regional State Treasury (Binh Phuoc province). The digital transformation topic will conduct a comprehensive audit at 2 units: the Department of Finance, the Department of Science and Technology; and a detailed audit at 4 units including the departments of Home Affairs, Science and Technology, Justice, andEducation and Training.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien said that the audit is a favorable condition for the province to review data, reports, and activities related to the budget and investment projects in the province. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance and the departments, branches, and units being audited to provide all relevant documents according to the delegation's outline; arrange and assign appropriate staff to explain and explain to the delegation related contents; and implement the document confidentiality regime in accordance with regulations.
