Nam Giang supports 5 tons of rice for Ta Lui village (Laos) affected by fire

(QNO) - On the afternoon of May 29, a working delegation from Nam Giang district visited and supported the people of Ta Lui village (Ka Lum district, Sekong province, Laos) who suffered heavy damage due to fire.

During the visit, Mr. Nguyen Dang Chuong - Vice Chairman of Nam Giang District People's Committee presented 5 tons of rice (worth 100 million VND) to people in Ta Lui village whose houses were damaged by fire.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Chuong said that this is an activity showing the affection of the Party Committee, government and people of Nam Giang district towards the people of Ta Lui village, contributing to creating conditions for households to stabilize their lives.

Previously, on the evening of April 5, a large fire broke out in Ta Lui village, completely burning down 46 houses, fortunately there were no casualties. This village has 48 households with 365 people.
