Preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam are basically complete.

Implementing Directive 05, dated May 16, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on strengthening direction and coordination in organizing the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, according to the Department of Education and Training, up to now, the preparation work for organizing this exam has been basically completed.

Phu Yen Newspaper interviewed Director of the Department of Education and Training Tran Khac Le about the content of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. Mr. Le said:

- The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. In order for the exam to take place as planned and create favorable conditions for candidates, the Department of Education and Training has directed heads of units and schools to complete the program, records, and transcripts for 12th grade students; prepare facilities for organizing the exam at the exam sites...

* Up to now, how have units and schools completed the school year program as well as reviewed and organized mock exams for students, sir?

- Implementing Directive 05 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, the Department of Education and Training has directed units and schools on the content and preparation work for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. Up to now, schools have reviewed the school's education plan, completed the program and progress according to the school year's time frame. In addition, units have also increased review, tutoring, and knowledge enrichment for grade 12 students suitable for each school and each group of students (according to the registered exam subjects/elective exams) until the exam date.

After the common high school graduation mock exam organized by the Department of Education and Training (May 14 and 15), schools continued to organize other times at their units, helping students get familiar with the exam structure, how to do the exam, and the exam organization format according to the 2018 General Education Program. From there, the level of knowledge and skills preparation of students before the official exam can be assessed. In addition, schools also guide students to self-study and self-review, not causing overload, ensuring the health of students participating in the exam; at the same time, creating the most favorable conditions for students in terms of knowledge, capacity, physical and mental health so that they have a comfortable and confident mindset to enter the exam with the highest results.

* Up to now, how have schools prepared documents and transcripts for 12th grade students to take the high school graduation exam, sir?

- To ensure that the high school transcript data on the high school graduation exam management system includes all subjects and accurate data for graduation recognition, the exam registration points have reviewed the transcript score information, updated the transcript score, and the 12th grade training and learning results to the industry database (CSDLN) of the Ministry of Education and Training .

For the Technology subject, when entering scores on the National Database, the Industrial Technology/Agricultural Technology subjects have been separated. Currently, schools have synchronized high school transcript data to the National Database. The Ministry of Education and Training will synchronize for the second time (after May 31, 2025) the grade 12 student transcript score data from the National Database to the High School Graduation Exam Management System to serve the work of considering exam eligibility and considering recognition of high school graduation in 2025. After the second synchronization, the exam management system will open for points to receive records to enter/edit transcripts on the exam management system in case manual updating is required.

* How will training and dissemination of exam regulations be carried out for officials, teachers and forces participating in the 2025 high school graduation exam?

- The Department of Education and Training will continue to train and disseminate exam regulations to officials, teachers, and forces participating in the exam. In particular, it is important to note how to handle common errors in previous years' exams and the work of detecting, preventing, and combating cheating in the use of high-tech devices. The Department of Education and Training also directs units to strengthen information and propaganda work so that students and parents can fully grasp the necessary information and new points about the exam. In particular, it reminds and notes that candidates absolutely must not use high-tech means and devices to cheat during the exam.

The Department of Education and Training requires schools to complete this work no later than June 15, 2025.

Each school establishes a support and advisory board to help and accompany candidates; sends staff, teachers, and youth union members to manage and encourage students, help find accommodation and food, and solve problems that arise during the exam...

* To ensure safe travel and accommodation for candidates during the exam days, what plans does the Department of Education and Training have, sir?

- To ensure traffic safety for candidates taking the exam, the Department of Education and Training requires schools to review and grasp the number of candidates taking the exam, means of transportation, accommodation (if any) during the exam. On that basis, count the number of candidates traveling by personal or public transport, going back and forth during the day or staying to develop a plan and method to bring candidates of their school to the exam to ensure the most complete, safe and convenient for candidates.

In addition, schools coordinate with the parents' representative committee to organize a contract for transportation of students from schools far from the exam site to take part in the exam. Especially candidates with difficult circumstances, children of ethnic minorities, families with preferential policies, poor households, remote areas and candidates residing in areas affected by natural disasters. Each school establishes a support and advisory board to help and accompany candidates; assigns cadres, teachers, and youth union members to go with them to manage and encourage them, help them find accommodation, food, and solve problems that arise during the exam. In addition, units and schools coordinate with the volunteer force "Supporting the Exam Season" organized by the Provincial Youth Union and the district, town, and city Youth Unions at the exam sites to develop a plan to support candidates and their families who unfortunately encounter unusual weather, accidents, health problems, etc. to provide timely support during the exam days.

Up to now, it can be said that preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam are basically complete.
