On the morning of May 31, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police held a launching ceremony to respond to the "Month of Action for Drug Prevention and Control" and "National Day for Drug Prevention and Control June 26" in 2025. At the ceremony, the leaders of the Drug Police Department of the Provincial Police deployed a plan to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control 2025. Accordingly, the unit will step up the implementation of many measures, enhance the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers in ensuring security and order, resolutely prevent, fight and push back drug abuse from society, build a community with a civilized lifestyle and "absolutely say no to drugs"; promote the vanguard role of union members and youth on the front line of drug prevention and control. At the same time, promote propaganda work to positively change the awareness of all classes of people about the harmful effects of crime and drug abuse.

With the slogan "Every citizen is a soldier, every family is a fortress in drug prevention and control", the Drug Police Department has mobilized police officers and soldiers of units, localities and the whole population to actively respond to the "Month of action to prevent and control drugs" and "Day of National Drug Prevention and Control", contributing to effectively promoting the movement of the entire population to protect national security and join hands in preventing and controlling drugs.

In his speech, Colonel Nguyen Mau An requested that in the coming time, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police continue to synchronously deploy measures, grasp the drug crime situation early and from afar; resolutely fight against drug crimes and evils, create a healthy and safe environment for people to feel secure in building their lives and developing the economy . At the same time, strengthen coordination with relevant departments, branches, organizations and units to promote propaganda and legal education to each residential area, school and business establishment in many appropriate forms.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Drug Crime Prevention Police of the Provincial Police organized a parade to propagate the law on drug prevention and control on the main roads of the city, mobilizing all people and the police force to actively participate in drug prevention and control.
