Mechanical enterprises will use the most Hoa Phat products, promoting localization

On June 2, 2025, the delegation of the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises (VAMI) visited and worked at the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Production Complex. Witnessing the leading steel production complex in Southeast Asia, Mr. Nguyen Chi Sang - Chairman of the VAMI Association said that mechanical enterprises unanimously support domestic production, support each other to develop together by using the most Hoa Phat products, thereby creating production and supply chains.

General Director of the Group Nguyen Viet Thang shared that Hoa Phat always aspires to make many types of special steel and high-quality steel.

The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Chi Sang - Chairman of VAMI Association, with the participation of Vice Chairmen of the Association, leaders of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering Research and representatives of nearly 30 enterprises and units operating in the mechanical engineering field nationwide. On the side of Hoa Phat Group, there were Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - General Director of the Group; Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien - Deputy General Director of the Group; Mr. Mai Van Ha - Director of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company, along with the Board of Directors and representatives of specialized departments and divisions.

General Director of the Group Nguyen Viet Thang thanked the delegation of the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI) for visiting the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Complex, promoting cooperation opportunities between the two sides. Currently, Vietnam's mechanical industry has many development prospects, opening up investment opportunities in the field of steel fabrication. Hoa Phat always aspires to make many types of special steel and high-quality steel. The Group is committed to being a pioneer in the field of steel fabrication, contributing to the development of Vietnam's mechanical industry. With strong investment in technology, Hoa Phat's products are competitive in both domestic and international markets.

During the program, the delegation learned about the group's crude steel production capacity, hot-rolled steel production lines, and high-quality steel in key areas of the Complex such as Blast Furnace No. 5, Iron Smelting Plant; Long Steel Rolling Plant, HRC2 Plant, and Wharf No. 1, 2, and Hoa Phat Dung Quat Specialized Port.

Enterprises in the fields of mechanics, shipbuilding, oil and gas, automobiles, etc. of the Association expressed their impression after the field visit to the Complex and recognized the great potential for cooperation between the two sides in promoting localization, developing the domestic mechanical and metallurgical supply chain, together aiming to build a self-reliant, modern and sustainable industry.
