PROACTIVE SOLUTIONS
The Department of Industry and Trade has identified the storage of essential goods as one of the important tasks in disaster prevention, control and search and rescue. Before the rainy season, the Department has proactively developed a plan to store essential goods and PCTT according to the "4 on-site" motto. Coordinate with localities and enterprises to survey consumer demand, identify areas at risk and frequently affected by natural disasters to develop a plan to supply goods promptly and effectively.
On that basis, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with departments, branches, sectors and localities to actively direct relevant enterprises and units to organize and implement the reserve properly according to the list, ensuring quality, quantity, type and ready arrangement of human resources and means of transporting goods, ensuring the best service to people when natural disasters occur. In addition to the task of preparing reserve goods, the Department requires enterprises and distributors to strengthen price management; stores and agents to comply with the sale of goods at the prescribed price, avoiding speculation, hoarding, and price increases. Ensure the supply of gasoline and oil; promptly resolve power problems, ensure safety for people in affected areas and promptly serve rescue work. Regularly urge businesses to review and develop plans to ensure safety and prevent flooding of warehouse systems... At the same time, direct the Market Management Department to coordinate with localities and functional forces to strengthen inspection and control work to prevent and strictly handle acts of taking advantage of natural disasters to speculate and increase prices of goods and services, destabilizing the market.

ABUNDANT RESERVE GOODS
Up to this point, goods reserved for disaster prevention, control and search and rescue have been produced and distributed by enterprises such as: Ca Mau Trading Joint Stock Company, Bac Lieu branch, Co.opmart Bac Lieu Supermarket, Vincom Bac Lieu Supermarket, An Lac Supermarket Company Limited Branch in Bac Lieu, Bach Hoa Xanh Bac Lieu System, Vinh Loc Food Company Limited, Bac Lieu Salt Joint Stock Company... fully prepared according to plan. Some key items are stockpiled in large quantities by units, including: nearly 40,000 boxes of noodles, 511 tons of rice, 150 tons of dry food, nearly 55,000 boxes of bottled water... For construction materials, 16,000 roofing sheets, 15,700 roofing sheets made of other materials, 22 tons of steel wire... For gasoline, the Department of Industry and Trade directed key enterprises, distributors and retail stores to proactively monitor the source of goods, stockpile on-site and supply goods according to signed contracts, ensuring adequate quality, quantity, variety and on schedule, without interrupting the supply of reserves.
In addition to stockpiling goods, many companies and enterprises have also proactively promoted production activities to provide the market with many essential products and goods, avoiding a shortage of goods.
With a commercial network of 62 markets, 7 supermarkets, 7 shopping centers, and a system of wholesale and retail stores that are widely developed and cover remote areas, the provision of goods to serve people's consumption needs has become increasingly convenient. The proactive plan to reserve and supply goods promptly and adequately during natural disasters has contributed to ensuring good market stability and stabilizing people's lives before, during and after natural disasters.
