On the afternoon of June 4, the Bac Lieu Department of Health coordinated with the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights to organize the program "Lighting up dreams" to show gratitude to compatriots and soldiers in the South at the Provincial Social Protection Center (Hung Hoi Commune, Vinh Loi District) and Vinh Phuoc An Tu Orphanage (Ward 2, Bac Lieu City). Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa - former President of the Vietnam Women's Union, President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights; Mr. Ngo Vu Thang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also attended the program.

At the program, more than 220 lonely elderly people, disadvantaged children, and orphans at 2 facilities and several localities in the province were presented with 30 bicycles, more than 110 cartons of fresh milk, 50 cans of milk, 40 bottles of hot oil...
Representatives of the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights presented gifts and milk to orphans at Vinh Phuoc An Tu Orphanage.
This is a meaningful activity during the Month of Action for Children, aiming to support children in difficult circumstances to strive to study well, especially children being cared for at social protection facilities in the province.
