This march had a total of 1,663 officers and soldiers. Of which, from Saigon station to Hanoi station there were 1,139 people, divided into two groups (668 people and 471 people); from Tam Ky station there were 524 people. The force was arranged on trains with full cargo cars, dining cars, sleeper cars and soft seat cars, ensuring conditions for rest and living during the long journey.

As soon as arriving at Hanoi station, the forces quickly moved to the prepared assembly areas, ready to enter the practice phase for the celebration.

To ensure safe and timely transportation, the Department of Motorcycles and Transportation (General Department of Logistics and Engineering) has developed a specific plan from the marching stage to practice, preliminary review, final rehearsal and participation in the official ceremony. It is expected that more than 600 vehicles of all types will be mobilized, including command vehicles, military vehicles, vans, trucks, ambulances and reserve vehicles.

For units in the Northern region, the transportation of forces and vehicles is carried out using local resources, ensuring initiative, flexibility and absolute safety.

Mission A80 is an activity of profound political and social significance, demonstrating the patriotism and combined strength of the entire people and the people's armed forces in the current period.
