The approval rate for the content of the draft Resolution amending and supplementing the Constitution is 99.75%.

On June 6, according to information from the Ministry of Justice , the Government issued a report summarizing the results of collecting opinions from the people, sectors and levels on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

According to the report, the total number of comments from agencies, organizations and individuals on all the above contents of the draft Resolution is 280,226,909.

The content of amending and supplementing Article 9 of the 2013 Constitution on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations received the most attention and comments from agencies, organizations and individuals (with 37,143,884 comments, accounting for 13.25% of the total number of comments from agencies, organizations and individuals).

In terms of the content of the comments, the opinions showed a very high level of agreement with the content of the draft Resolution (all contents achieved an approval rate of over 99%). On average, the approval rate for the above contents of the draft Resolution was 99.75%.

The Government assessed that, basically, the organization of collecting opinions on the draft Resolution was implemented seriously, publicly, democratically, scientifically , and on schedule by ministries, branches, and localities.

The process of organizing the consultation strictly follows the direction of competent authorities; ensures the leadership of Party committees at all levels; promotes the responsibility of leaders and coordination between agencies and organizations.

Collecting opinions through the VNeID application has facilitated people to contribute opinions, ensuring transparency, democracy, comprehensiveness and substance, helping to mobilize the intelligence and enthusiasm of all classes of people, organizations, experts and scientists at home and abroad, shortening the time for collecting opinions as well as synthesizing people's opinions on the draft Resolution.

Thereby, affirming the role of the people in the process of building the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, creating consensus and unity in the whole society with the new points in the draft Resolution. The specific results mentioned above have demonstrated the interest and active participation of the people in contributing ideas to amending and supplementing the Constitution.

In particular, with 99.75% of votes in favor, it was affirmed that the content of the amendment and supplement to the Constitution achieved high consensus and unity among the people, accurately reflecting the will and aspirations of the people./.
