According to information from the Departmentof Education and Training, the whole province has 28 examination councils; in the Literature subject, 80 candidates were absent out of a total of 11,005 candidates registered to take the exam.
The first exam took place seriously, with no violations of regulations by candidates or supervisors. The exam was assessed as suitable for candidates and had a classification purpose. In the afternoon of the same day, candidates took the Math exam in essay format, with a time limit of 120 minutes.
