Mr. Tran Thanh Tung - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Khanh Son district said that in the past 10 years, the association has mobilized the establishment of 3 cooperatives with 24 members and 18 cooperative groups with 187 members, creating concentrated production models, effectively applying science and technology. Collective economic models have helped farmers expand their scale, improve production skills, and support each other to develop together. In the past 10 years, 5,575 poor farmers have been supported to develop production and business through capital support, seedlings, and technology transfer... In particular, the Farmers' Association of the district has supported 145 poor member households to purchase machinery for agricultural production with a total value of more than 1.4 billion VND in the form of deferred payment, without interest; thereby contributing to helping farmers have conditions to invest in production more effectively.

Implementing the movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably", Khanh Son district has many good farming and business households with incomes of billions of VND each year. Many farmers have applied high technology, safe farming methods such as VietGAP, organic in production to develop sustainable agriculture . We can mention the example of farmer Cao Thanh Hai (born in 1989, Raglai ethnic group) in Son Lam commune. From a poor household in the locality, thanks to his diligence in learning and support from the State, he has grown 3 hectares of organic durian, purchased dozens of freezers to cold-preserve separated durian to sell to businesses that purchase the product. Thanks to that, his family's income each year is up to billions of VND. Or like farmer Tro Thi Hop in Son Trung commune, thanks to her diligence, willingness to learn and timely support from the State's support programs, she has raised pigs, grown durian, run a grocery store, made traditional rice wine, etc., bringing in an annual income of 500 million VND for her family.
Join hands to build our homeland
Implementing the model of "Skilled mass mobilization" for good farmers to help poor farmers, over the past 10 years, the Farmers' Association at all levels in the district has mobilized 35 good farmers and business households to help 83 poor farmers develop their economy. At the same time, mobilized agricultural material businesses in the district to supply in the form of deferred payment more than 2,000 tons of fertilizer, worth 12 billion VND; 30,000 seedlings of various types, worth nearly 2.4 billion VND; more than 8 tons of pesticides, worth 2 billion VND to members and farmers.
Mr. Tran Thanh Tung added that in the process of implementing 3 national target programs and socio-economic development programs of the province, the district Farmers' Association has mobilized farmers to actively participate in the programs. Accordingly, 100% of the association's grassroots units have specific projects or tasks to participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Over the past 10 years, farmers in the district have donated 8,000m2 of land to build roads and roads to production areas; participated in dredging and repairing more than 8km of intra-field canals. In addition, the association launched and received support from members and farmers to participate in planting forests, planting landscape trees in villages, building 5 models of farmers participating in protecting the rural environment... "These contributions have helped Son Binh and Son Hiep communes achieve new rural standards by 2025; Khanh Son district escape from poverty by 2025. This is the result of the joint efforts and consensus of the entire political system and people, including farmer members" - Mr. Tung emphasized.
